    Kandy,
like many here I source my information from many sources, both mainstream and Independant, personally having consumed all information and propaganda, biased both ways, I tend to concentrate on what I can determine ro be factual on the battlefield, everything else is white noise.
I have enormous respect for the Ukrainians going up against great odds and even greater respect but empathy and sorrow for those citizens being thrust into the frontlines with minimal training, they, unfortunately are cannon fodder!
I think of where I was at after my initial basic training and then specific Infantry corps training. If i was sent to war when i first got to the battalion i would have still been overwhelmed, without doubt, but at least an effective soldier.
I cannot possibly fathom how Ordinary Ukrainians must feel being confronted with a hell that is currently eastern Ukraine.
Jeez, even socalled veterans from Iraq and afghanastan going over to fight are hightailing it outta there. This is not a conflict with fleeting engagements with goat herders armed with AK's and maybe an RPG with no artillery or air support let alone sophisticated standoff weapons!
Unlike previous wars western nations have fought in last 30 years, death can come from many different directions and many varied ways!
I dont care whos right and wrong, this needs to end Asap before there is nothing left of Ukraine and its brave people!
