Hitler into Poland 1939, yes to Chamberlain declaring war. (The closest similarity to Putin invading Ukraine on ethic grounds/land grab. The nuclear deterent is working for Russia creating fear in the innoccent at long distances, the West is afraid to step over the red line, doing its best help Ukraine re-secure its freedom, at the same time established boundaries for Putin/Russia in its aggression)

Korea was before my time, North Korea sits today it would have been better if they lost? Locked into a decaying state, run by another Dictator with aggressive intent. North Korean Communist army crossed the 38th Parallel and invaded non-Communist South Korea, yes.
Cuba, no.
Vietnam, no.
Iraq, no. Outcome without Sadam another murdering aggressive dictator gone is clearly better.
Afghanistan, no. Russia and West/America both had long term tries at stabilising that country. Great shame for the people at the family level who are truly lovely, subjuggated now by an extreme religious state.

Ukraine, Russian aggressive dictator with a frightening nuclear capabilities invading with broader ambitions, yes. The people of Ukraine clearly want the defensive help, they would like a hell of alot more.... Ukraine is a democracy, which to me is a relative high point in development and respect for citizens. Something to be protected strongly. Russia needs to leave Ukraine.

I would prefer no country invaded another without a 2/3 majority in the UN, an extreme humanitarian crisis.
