Someone is being very precious about the whole thing...
Small cap companies that end up having ego fights over board presence never win. No-one wins and the one who loses the most is the minority shareholders.
It is petty, small minded egos that after being ejected from the Board once think they can push their way back using leverage tactics and do better the second time round with the same mind set, same dismissive attitude to shareholders, same poor governance and same tawdry feeding at a trough. History and other examples on the bourse show this is not the case. For example PDF (Pacific Dairy Farms Limited), MRG (Murray River Organics Limited) and currently SFG (Seafarms Group Limited) is mid-flight of a similar scenario and even Bellamy's struggled in part when it got involved with one of the parties.
A look at its own history from the initial structure and inception idea (i.e. dairy farm aggregation) to the myriad of initiative failures that have already become part of that history under the stewardship of two of the protaganists and let alone the confusion over the Camperdown Dairy name and the various derivatives. The following link provides a possible insight in to the way business is done by some parters named in the announcement.

The faster the current Board dismisses this notice on legitimacy grounds the better for all shareholders and perhaps as a sign of peace making Adrian Rowley does resign of his own volition or offer to not stand for re-election at the next AGM. He has done a full term under good governance guidelines as it is.
If this notice or the parties associated with it (with about 15% of the issued capital) gets its way then there is no end in sight of further pain for the other 3,420 odd shareholders (with about 85% of the issued capital).
The business is and has for some time struggled to find its feet in the dairy sector with a number of false starts, it doesn't need this distraction at this pivotal time.
