Really, nothing to do with, no correlation at all?
We live in a country where both major parties represent relatively the same quadrant of the political spectrum. So no, it may form bias, but suggesting that a specific vote for a specific party dictates a political position is laughable.

And if an opposing opinion is that easily diminished, it was a poor opinion in the first instance..
