DeBono, There is no opportunity for the population to express a view on this through the ballot box. The two parties have a united stand in favor of immigration. I believe that this would not be endorsed by the people if they had a say. The major issue is that there is no Australian Population Policy. It is made up on the run. This is analogous to a farmer getting more and more stock on whim without considering if the farm will support it. But we can't truck people to market in a drought. The AFL has a considered drafting policy, Australia should have a considered immigration policy. Bacci
