It's a terrible situation for China as the article implies the west being the "black hand" sabotaging China's plan to rid herself of dependency on the iron ore cartel. You would think that given the coup military was foreign trained and the junta having shut down China twice in just a few months. LOL
Any hope of China to diversify iron ore imports and creating substantial volumes of production comparable to the Pilbara is now down the drain of Simandou is to be relied on.
ANS and Bestway lucky break may be now as our status is elevated given our association with the best iron ore region rivalling the Pilbara that China can help develop.
I can already see infrastructure funding getting approved and Sangha Mbalam production offtake contracts signed up at competitive rates reflecting the world class resource of this scale and being China's only viable option to fight this "resource war". The gloves have finally come off I think.
Once funding is official, IPO and relisting will surely follow. Yippee !
Go ANS. Bring it on !
