In Queensland, announced two days ago. Atomo HIV test is being given free to people over the age of 16 at RAPID centres.

STI notifications among Indigenous Australians are disproportionately higher than in non-Indigenous Australians.
To its credit Atomo is celebrating NAIDOC week in its social media, and it's great to see. In the past things were very slow on social media. but it seems like they are more on the ball than before. Increasing engagement is key. Regional Australians need better access and Atomo can help.


In other news, Orasure, a US maker of saliva based HIV tests had a rise in international sales in May, according to their statements.
Let's hope the global market for HIV self-tests is opening up after covid head winds.
