people buy things, require services and homes and therefore we all benefit.
it's a massive country with admittedly limited areas of where we can live, but really!!
it's a bit of forwards planning that's needed, new population centres to teh North, at the very least, when we all go to war over commodidites and water, we'll have a very large army to defend ourselves.
