Let me clarify, it is unfortunate that on the surface it appears a throw away line targeted to you re: conspiracy theory.
Let me apologise, it was more aimed at the poster in the first sentence of the post . . . .

re: (which appears to have been reported now for “other” - causing discomfort perhaps)
~ it took me ages to work out what you were saying, until I went to read the original post again, I can assure you that it wasn't my fingers on the report button. I do not reply to posts if I feel the need to report (which is very rare)

As for Borg's sale, was ideal for him? I don't know but at the time he sold, he did forego 1,841,748 in-specie shares.
I would hazard a guess and suggest that he may have used the proceeds to fund the purchase of his LLL entitlements, which was quite an outlay!

~ this is puzzling, your definition of immediately is far removed from mine, and Borg only sold one lot of shares?
re: "Another fact is that he sold over 2.5 million shares for $1.11 immediately prior to departing and filed accordingly. As was his right to do so. Good on anyone else with the incredible foresight that day to also sell."
~ Borg sold shares on the 29th April, 2nd May & 3rd May he resigned 4 weeks later on the 31st May, I hardly think a 4 week time span is immediately??
re: "Celebrate the savvy of a key insider director who not only cashed in 2,578,448 FFX shares at $1.117 immediately prior to the demerger (to much fanfare here too if I recall correctly) ......(sic)"
~ Borg sold shares on the 29th April, 2nd May & 3rd May, the demerger record date was the 6th June - which is 5 weeks from his sale date.
~ as for him comfortably resigning, I was under the impression he was always moving across.

~ FYI - It was me that posted a thank you to him when he resigned, he stood up in a role when the previous board departed en masse.

The details of what has transcribed has not been divulged via any announcement / statement from the Company but yet here we are all judge, jury and executioners.

    just saying

    cheers
