Haven't posted a while given the suspension, and the constant argy bargy on here. The key to this suspension too me has always been will it impact the timeline to production this side of 2025. That is the key question too me. I posted my views on the legal matters in these two posts, and the continuing suspension will become more of a concern too me as time drags on and they still remain how I am viewing this.

How the DRC deals with these issues will determine how sovereign risk is perceived in the country going forward, and the longer it drags on the greater the uncertainty, especially around how new new companies are attracted there as exploration companies in future. I mean failed exploration is significant everywhere in the world as 1 in 100 exploration plays ever get to mining, because exploration is what determines whether a deposit is found, and then the explorer enters feasibility studies to determine viability or not. Here an economic deposit has been found, and now you have broader and more capital intensive companies, backed presumably by deep pockets or access to deep pockets, who are seeking to take those gains away from a 'lucky' explorer taking the punt hence my comment here. What will open up the DRC is explorers taking a punt, and if explorers don't feel they will be bácked by government for taking a punt in the DRC then its development will be stifled IMO hence my comment herein. In other words explorers will look elswehere if they feel they won't be backed if they found a viable deposit.
AVZ has had its issues over the years but the irony to me is the following:
1. At the start of exploration back in 2017, the negative posters on here were arguing this will never be developed ever.
2. Then as the drills came in and feasibility studies were undertaken back in 2018 - 2019 the argument moved to it will be developed only after 2030
3. Now in 2022 the argument has moved by the negative posters to the deposit it will be developed this side of 2030 or even 2025, but it won't be owned by AVZ.
How times have changed.
