to change the flag, page-9

I would like to ask all the soldiers from past wars who have fought and been killed whist fight under that flag what their feelings are?...

I think most would find it hard to answer, being dead and all.

The Generals and pollies may talk about dying for the flag but I doubt many privates think of it that way. They do it because it's a job, or their duty, or an adventure or simply because their mates are doing it. The Queen and the flag would count for little.

If you could find something simple and recognisable like the Canuk's Maple Leaf, go for it but the only thing which comes to mind is the QANTAS 'roo and that has been compromised as a national flag. The southern cross also belongs to Africa and S America.
