I expect bear market rallies over the next 12 - 18 months as well. Suckers will buy the dip, investors will sell into strength.

Like many here, I invested in the Paul Volker era in the early 1980s. Remember the 1982 credit crunch as if it was yesterday. They were completely different times when people put up with pain as they were not heavily in debt. Today is the complete opposite.

Powell talks like Volker but has no way of walking the walk.

The world is in a pickle. Printing money was a "go to" strategy when there was no inflation. It is off the table now.
