It would be suicidal to throw away millions of reoccurring revenue, just to be able to add instant deposits. I'm assuming ANZ finally made it happen for them.
This Q's revenue figure, even when trades are down, suggests that the interest deal is just as it's ever been.
Their revenue comes mainly from:
trades (down)
interest (up)
subscription (up)
which are due to
active traders (up, but low rate).
market factors (low interest at the moment)
It the interest rate deal had gotten worse, then revenue would have gotten worse.
