I think you could read it a different way, and as you are blunt with others I will be too.
You are confusing the vehicle with the output.
Opportunistic buying is the vehicle.
Managing the SP “when it does not reflect robust outlook for the company” is the output. This is absolutely about managing the SP.
@lambostonks with you on this. I hope they start doing a better job of it too. Down ~10% in the past five or so days not quite what I would like to see from a buyback.
The outcome is what is most important though. The why?!
