Listening to the abc yesterday confirms the worst. Confirms that most left wing just dont understand the renewable alternatives ARE NOT yet feasible to completely replace fossil fuels, so there is no point protesting to achieve the IMPOSSIBLE of switching off fossil fuels without destruction of society. Solar, wind, electric vehicles batteries are not yet ready to replace gas coal and oil simple as that. If u go down this path too early we will end up like Sri Lanka no power no food no economy, the teals and greens want this to happen unless they acknowledge how important fossil fuels still are to our society and accept the transition will take years to achieve and must be done in a sensible timeframe.
