"BUT - Market 12 months on is valuing that transaction at 1c or so - 1/7th of the cost price" No it's not. It's valuing the performance of the company as a whole at 1.2c/share. The current SP bears no relationship to the price of the value of the Invigo transaction.

The number of shares issued to the Invigo vendors was determined by the purchase price for Invigo x the VWAP of the SP. Had the SP been lower at the time, the number of shares issued would have been greater, conversely had the SP been higher at the time then the number of shares issued would have been less. What has or has not occurred 12 months on is not relevant to the value of the Invigo transaction or to the issue price of the consideration shares.

So if you sell a house for $2m on 30/6/21 and get paid in $2m worth of gold bullion and then you sell the gold bullion 12 months later and you can only sell it for $1.5m because its price has fallen over those 12 months, then you haven't made a loss on the sale of the gold bullion at all because the house was really only worth $1.5m...
