    If you bothered to look you would see that gas is following the peak loads. And that's because big coal struggles with load change.

    Just as well we've got renewables in there otherwise we'd be burning even more gas and coal . eek.png

    Now you're claiming brown coal is cheaper ???? Funny how you're not backing that with facts, isn't it ?

    I've provided the Gencost report for you to read. It seems you haven't read it .

    Then there's your lie about Hazelwood. Even if Engie had continued with Hazelwood, it would be shut down now as that was it's planned end of life date. And, let's not forget that to keep it running a further 5 years would have cost Engie over $250 million in safety modifications. Hazelwood was already several years past it's use by date .
