no the -30 is on the stochastic..you don't buy until it is above
where longs are waiting to enter..
normal stochastic lines are set at 80/20, i use 70/30 as above 70 can keep you in the trade longer, and above the -30 can put you ,but not always successful. .settings are 14/3/3 have to keep your beady eye on the ball
