I’m mindful of the issues you raise and I don’t disagree with you on most. It’s disappointing you see a need to throw stones from outside the tent.

BCI seem to operate as if they are reinventing the wheel possibly as a result of rain, maybe as a result of gas pipelines or maybe in regard to issues confronted by KLL in processing its potash. Who knows? They don’t report on the issues. The financial revue set for publishing by end of June has been complicated and delayed by engineering modifications apparently resulting from one or more of the three issues above or something not eluded to yet.

This Mardie project has been proposed and approved for construction and operation. Will the potential new modifications suffer further delays through a further government approvals process?

The Mardie Salt Project will be the sixth such salt project in WA. The other five projects are all situated in the Pilbara region and each would have been impacted by rain this year and many other times in the past.

If BCI and the state haven’t considered all issues such as cyclones, rain, high tide, low tide, climate change etc etc prior to project submission and approval someone hasn’t done their job.

BCI have and will raise excuses for delays time and time again because that’s it’s DNA what its leadership does in my humble opinion.
