As someone else has mentioned, last years preliminary update, before full year results, were 13 July. It is of course not a simple process accurately and collating the accounts for the CFO, who will be busy as it is with EOFY and preperation for FY results as it is. Last insider buy was announced 9 June, so no impediment there.

Personally picked up a little more stock on today's pullback. At the risk of overkill, a little reminder, the last update (for 3Q 2022FY) showed revenues bouncing back from COVID disruption and quaterly revenue up 59% to $12.26 million (AUD) and a very clear notice from management that the normal business was cash flow positive for the quarter, before other proceeds.

Shorts pretty steady, so its most likely medium-term loss-locking or short-term profit-taking, existing share-holders selling at this point.

Supect the CFO will be busy this weekend and results out Monday or Tuesday (it was a Tuesday last year).

As crappy Motely Fool pointed out recently, Regal Funds were a big shorter. Their premise was poor in my opinion. I'd applaude shorters who did their homework on likely ASX200 removal, but calling the biotech sector “the biggest bubble in the Australian stockmarket.” is a stretch here:

On 'a lack of biotech expertise in the Australian investor community' I would however agree. Bio-tech broker/analyst coverage in Australia is pretty crap. I am on another stock that recently negotiated a deal with a top 5 global (in its field) and Fortune 500 company and it barely moved. Its about to announce results in a trial with the biggest Pharmaceutical company in the world (Johnson and Johnson) and does not even get broker coverage, let alone make the AFR news. Pretty illustrative of how crap bio-tech investment coverage is in Australia, but why the sector is generally cheap, not a reason to short.

You are all familiar with the business fundamentals, the company has flagged them well enough, the market more generally is not.
