I admire your optimism, I use to have that optimism. Then a smart person had me start tracking my results with Quicken, not in my mind. I was shocked I thought i had been making long term money I was losing. Luckly my salary could just cover it up. We sat down and studied what was happening and have made long term money ever since.
The stock market is like a pendulum, If you add enough energy to compensate for friction. IF you track Velocity it forms a perfect Sin wave. If you add to much energy it swings further but is still a SIN wave. We added lots of energy to Lynas over several years. ITs center point is probably $6 to $7 So we are not at bottom yet. As it goes past center it will start slowing down. Eventually it will stop for a very brief period the go back. This point is easy to see and jump on. If a little energy is added it will go further than before. buy if energy is taken away it never will. Why don't you want to get off for a short period. My guess it is because you have little control of your FOMO Fellings. i use to have a real strong FOMO as well it took others to show me how much it was hurting me. Lynas has lots of potential. It is not the only or best one. Part of controlling FOMO is to understand if you miss an opportunity there will always be others. If you hold too long that loss is very hard to overcome.
Think of the SIN wave again Getting on Late and off early always gives the best Annualized gain. May not sound as great at the bar but that is where the opportunity is.
