Hi tcf/all, I’ve been sitting back having a look at Mardie, the earthworks, 33km scale of project and low carbon credentials, along with the current SP catch my eye. I have a few questions that you may be able to discuss out if you don’t mind.
How the harvest process will work?
Is each pond self sufficient and a closed system that generates its own product or do the ponds act in series, which also answers if there is potential to commission and produce product progressively while remaining ponds are constructed. The announcement mentions secondary approvals, which I assume could impact parts of the ponds?
You mention progress and $100million spent in 3.5 months recently. Is there an indication of what that spend is on and if to a plan? I assume decent spend and a budget for the process plant, pumps, port, infrastructure, etc.?
is there any differentiator between how Mardie will operate and the current WA salt producers, that will help operation cost per units produced and long term competitiveness in operation?
What size is the camp, as an ops sized camp may be a limiting construction factor in the big ramp up stage of construction? Which if not prioritised properly can blow the critical path = costs and delayed production.
You have concerns regarding earthworks and recent heavy falls/flooding, static flooding isn’t a big issue I’ll assume except the downtime and costs of plant a dequipment sitting until conditions resume, flowing water though can lead to erosion /washouts to the constructed works but I’d imagine that is localised to any specific wash out points, again not ideal but not likely to have a rework element to certain bits already constructed.
The update and ceo resignation statement allude to difficult current environment (paraphrase), I’ll assume that is inflationary pressures being referred to in all construction at the moment, what elements would be affected by this the most iyo?
Kerry Stokes has been mentioned as a big investor/shareholder , is there any synergy on the project with Westracs availability to earthmoving equipment on the project?

I can see the conflict between posters and opinions, but I think you all ultimately want to see this succeed, I do too for WA, but potentially as a shareholder in the near future.
    Thanks
