Doors, what would be worse is if your buy order was filled and the SP went further down - if your buy is for a short term position.

These are the times that separate the LT holders from the traders. Judging from the interest expressed by various HC members' posts in the last few months BLY has been a bit of a market darling and with this pullback the traders have exited the building as the promise of a quick speed angle ride up to 45 or 50 hasnt materialised - and BLY is now left a bit in the dark I think as there are other promising stocks to gravitate to. At least we have RKG to keep us company (you know I mean that in the best spirit RKG). But those traders will be back, and pushing the share price up when the time is right for them. I know, because my short term holdings are out, and those funds will be back with the rest of them.

But my long term holdings remain in place because my 12 month plus time horizon is based on the now-solid company balance sheet is secure, strong market position in exploiting the strong commodities outlook, etc, etc. And for these $'s the short term stuff is irrelevant, because at some point in time the short term trend will reverse and convege with the longer term (up)trend and it will all come together. Just have a look at any chart showing a ST moving average and a LT moving average - the ST mavs always oscillate around the LT mav - always. So the only question to ask yourself is - which direction is that LT moving average. Without any of the fancy indicators superimposed on a BLY weekly chart the answer is obvious - up.

    Cheers, Sharks.
