Hi damorgs
Trading in spec stocks is almost an entirely different ball game to buying and selling your average blue chip share.
A few things to consider when buying into these kind of stocks:
1. Try to accumulate stock before hype builds.
2. Do your own research, even phone the company and ask
questions. If there is a lot of negativity being
bandied about on the stock thread don't treat all
all this as fact - ask the company directly. Going
against the most common type of opinions often pays
the biggest gains.
3. Set certain selling points to offload stock according
to both charting and other criteria like your own
ideals and buying and selling pressures.
4. Never get carried away with any stock, or more to the
point, never put too many eggs into the one basket.
5. And look for stocks that are in a position to fund
exploration, that have favourable backing, and
are in search of a commodity that is in demand.
Just some recommendation to try and survive the spec end of the market.
Good luck!
