    Hi all,

It always amazes me how shareholders choose to "read" or should I say intepret what is in an announcement to suit themselves and frame their own best possible outcomes/scenarios.

The last line today of the OBJ announcement I read as, "OBJ will continue to do as they have done today"....that is, keep shareholders up-to-date with the MTA agreement and program....not as, "OBJ will shortly provide an update on what exactly 3M have been doing and how the testing specifics are going and furthermore, why exactly a 60 request for an MTA extension has been granted".

Quite simply, the last line of the OBJ announcement today just confirmed that OBJ are going to continue keeping shareholders informed of developments - what more could one ask for atm - given the circumstances?

Reminds me of a release made in another stock I was in recently - that has also performed very well recently. After drilling a well and stating that it would be prepared for production testing, the CEO stated, "This is the best possible outcome for shareholders". Ah....der!!! Obviously better than a duster and a plug and abandon. BUT, a growing number of shareholders focussed PURELY on that one-liner from the CEO and state that because the wording, "best possible outcome" was used....that the well MUST be commercial and this is what the CEO must have meant!!

Again, the CEO simply meant that having the well go onto the production testing stage (i.e go forward one more step) was at the time the best possible outcome.

One could also intepret todays release from OBJ as "the best possible outcome" if one was to focus purely on the "additional testing" wording in the announcement. But no, the need for instant gratification and short-sightedness of the majority find it easier to be disgruntled that they will not be able to upgrade to that 70 inch HDTV next week as planned and OBJ is destined to retrace to <1c!!

As I said, ASX releases should be viewed (at best) as informative creative writing pieces and you should try and view every detail from every angle....to avoid dissapointment.

Personally, I hope the traders and placement holders (after Feb 2) keep on heading for the exit doors, as I hope to add some <3 centers to my position.

    Cheers.

    K
