Sunbank will keep its name and branches. The QLD treasurer today has given them free publicity and reinforced the 'our Qld bank' perception. ANZ has bought further exposure to a growth state.
But, yes, time and execution will tell the story. I hope to take up my allocation and if Mr Market over reacts to the downside then I could be in for topping up.
The market is looking more bullish at the moment but the macro still looks dire. There could be more buying opportunities yet.
