It's a big call to assert that WHC can make up for the 12 or so days coal trains didn't operate due to Maitland et al flooding, but at 2100 AEST tonight there are three loaded Maules Creek to Newcastle (Kooragang Island) coal trains (two operated by Pacific National, and the one in the middle by AZJ) within c.50 kilometres of each other in the area between Wingen (north of Scone NSW) and Werris Creek.
Great to see. We need sales to continue at a good clip, and bulk ships to depart the port loaded with the company's black gold.
August 2022 futures tonight are dropping another US$20 in early trade. However, even US$150 is still a great price, and it's hugely above that. at US$360.
