Hi Kluck - we are usually on the same page but may I take issue with your observation about the General Counsel or Company Secretary having financial oversight being sufficient. Having been a GC of a listed ASX top 50 (that started in the 200) for a decade working alongside the Co Secretary and the MD, COO and CFO plus others (board and committees) there is just no way a CFO responsibility’s can be delegated to anyone else. It is a unique role with specialist education and even in a small enterprise if done by someone with “bush knowledge “ then that is a recipe for disaster.
Bravo to IMU bringing a specialist on board.
