I’m not sure if I can actually remember a quarterly release where the share price actually closed in the green, Im expecting nothing different on Thursday. The copper price started heading south in June.
The September quarterly is only going to get worse as the copper price is languishing in the low $7000 US a tonne, not forgetting the Aussie gold price is more than $100 less only a month ago. The exchange rate will help us a bit but I’m expecting a lot lower earnings.
