The bit at end about Ulkraine, I disagree. The war will continue onto next year.. Look at strategic goals of each side... Ulkraine will not sue for peace until it reclaims all occupied territory from Russia and it does have a plan. Russia's strategic goals keeps changing.. I dare say it doesn't really have one because it original strategic goal has already failed. Currently in the Dombass, Russia's advantage stems from overwhelming advantage in artillery power about 10 to 1 advantage and was firing around 50k rounds per day. However with the 8 Hilmars that Ulkraine has it destroyed over 30+ ammo dumps, artillery shelling from Russian's have significantly fallen for past week.

Gold price getting smashed by the high DXY. Goldman sac predicted $2,500/oz gold price at end year on recession fears. The question is will Fed reverse monetary policy by the end of the.. It will depend not only US economy going into recession but the inflation prospect by year end. We already starting to see energy price fall on recession fear, question is whether it will head last year prices $60-70/bbl. China consumer demand is expected to fall because of property turmoil, i.e. some regional bank China banks have halted withdraws and we saw protests in Henan province. There is forecast that China will export its deflation to world by the end of the year.

If gold is heading to $2,500/oz by year's end and KCN is achieving first pour by end of the year from it low grade stockpile.. you got to be bullish on KCN. The thing I will comment is that Project Finance, there is requirement to hedge portion of the production, to guarantee the revenue. I suspect project finance will be pushed back to next year.
