A couple days ago I posted on this. Traditional commodities have gotten absolutely destroyed this month, but Pilbara just auctioned off spodumene (for lithium) at near record prices. I can see the case for going short on copper, oil, iron etc. (although, I wouldn't recommend it), but I would not want to be short battery metals. Demand for just about everything is tanking right now, but, somehow demand for battery cells remains insatiable.
