NZ is not as bad as you make out.
The rock volumes are smaller but the temperatures are higher, and continually replenished by pre-existing volcanic activity below.
Also permeability is higher allowing very high energy production. 2 wells at Kawerau are capable of supplying the 100mw power station if fully opened up.
The producing power stations at Rotokawa, Ohaaki, Mokai and Kawerau reinject ALL their water, and the same will apply to the new power stations at Nga Awa Purua, Centenial Drive and Te Mihi (replacing Wairakei).
