ordinary shares - you get 1 US for every 2 NCP's
so say you have 10000 - current value - aus103500
after the deal - you have 5000 NC US shares -
current price in US is US31.15 - for an equivelant number of shares (actually ads's where 1 ads = 4 ordinaries but in the deal they get 2 US shares for each ADS so same ratio).
so your post deal US value is us15.58 per US share (based on close on friday in NY) = 77875.00 for your 5000 US shares
in current aussie dollars that looks like total value of aus108160.
at least thats what it looks like to me - feel free to tell me i cant add up (or divide or whatever)
If im right then I bet that that gap b/w that AUS and US price will get greater as the US instos have to get on board and if then our dollar slips later in the year. get ur own advice.
