    I agree and would suggest that a situation of declining rent (in the retail and residential space) is highly unlikely.

    By the way teh ASX has finally updated the short sell data and here it is for AJA on Firday 29th:

    Reported Short Sales: 130,148
    Short sale percentage of total volume: 2.47%

    No conspiracy here. Just a really bad day I guess.
