traders will come across many opportunities during the listed life of CNB, such as on Friday when the SP closed nearly 8% higher at $1.21 on minimal turnover of not even 300k. This was a tidy gain from a low Thursday of $1.06 and came in the absence of fresh news.

there will always be some who can't resist a quick profit and others who need lunch money.

but the always low turnover in CNB suggests the vast majority of shareholders see benefit in holding long term.

CNB are obviously onto something major at Greater Duchess, and we're currently just scratching the surface.

glimpses of a possible copperberg, an elephant, come from the company's exploration and from @GeoFiji 's ongoing fascination with the area seen in the latest of a number of posts based on historical reports.

here's a reminder of a particularly juicy bit GeoFiji's post relating to the Lady Fanny prospect, which we're currently exploring: "The shaft was sunk to 103ft and hit sulphides at 65ft. At the bottom of the shaft the lode was 12ft wide assaying 25% copper."

i'm no geologist so i wonder if these sort of lodes are one-offs in isolation, or occur in discrete clusters and more are waiting to be discovered.

if these sorts of lodes are more than one-offs perhaps the criticised comparisons with Sandfire Resources, which started their operations with direct shipping ore, are more than justified.

long termers will reap the full benefits of any future such discoveries, while traders will have plenty of opportunities to get the excitement they crave.

    i'm holding long term.
