current science is not disputing that the earth has hot / cold cycles... neither am I.
The argument is that human intervention is causing an acceleration between cycles (shortening)... which is causing more extreme weather events -
Remember the movie "the day after tomorrow" (based off the book "the coming global superstorm")?
That argument aside... I still stand that the biggest cause for the shift to renewables is simple... they are cheaper
more of renewables requires less dependence on generators that require a resource such as coal, oil or gas to burn... these products are impacted by a global market and prices are hurting all parts of the consumer chain right now.
