I don't have 'my subjective view' mate. There is nothing that I'm saying that's not already in the public forum. It's not an ideology either. I also don't have a 'hidden agenda' and I can assure you that I'm no 'Lefty'. The new tech is here and there are many billions to be made from it. I hold shares in many companies (mostly miners, but some tech companies too) that are specifically mining resources or producing products for renewable energy and BESS. It's funny how these are the 'green' companies in my portfolio, along with the coal and gas companies (AGL, BPT) that I also hold. CXO, PLS, ARU, RNU, HIO, CPV, RFX.. the list goes on. In your view it's all unprofitable.. In reality these companies stand to make mega dollars. There is a step-change occurring today, away from our dependence on China and it is an exciting time to be an investor into Aussie companies that will lead. AGL also has the opportunity to move forward with cheap and reliable generation to shore itself up for the decades to come. I'm not really fussed whether you buy into this our not, but this isn't about me and it certainly isn't personal.
As Baldy stated in his previous post: "the states with the highest average power prices are those with the highest levels of coal (or fossil fuel) supply - this - is the part that needs to change."
Seems pretty black and white to those wo can open their eyes..
