Informative post as always Chicka....why did Mutz leave??? Three views on this :
    1) He felt he couldn't take the company forward any further - unlikely with the Scoping study due, legal challenges coming up which if he took the stand or whatever, blew the whistle on the way GA/H/Q do business, would have improved the case of AGS
    2) For personnal reasons perhaps....a phone call in the night from the BB's if you know what I mean, not about nice things, possible from what I hear the BB's can do to folks, but unlikely...
    3) A deal was done as previously mentioned by HC posters, in favour of AGS.....Mutz leaves AGS, doesn't represent AGS on the 'stand', doesn't release publicly their uncooth business practices, a trade off agreement - this seems to me to be the most likely senario, in which case forget the ASX correction and just continue to hold AGS. I posted after last year's AGM that Mutz eluded to a large resource at 4 Mile South, leaching down from the hills where Marathon and other low grade deposits are, low grade because its all leached down right into AGS's/Stevie Johnston's tenement (he pegged it you know), my feeling is 4 Mile South could be huge, and of high grade, hopefully confirmed by the independent scoping study (ISS) which is now very close to being released. Note also as others have mentioned the close timing of the resource updrade, then Mutz's departure, then the quarterly, all in 3 consecutive days, I would say the ISS is very close

Would appreciate some comments if anyone thinks there may be other reasons for Mutz's departure
