Ian Verrender is an excellent analyst and journo.... but this is 2021.... couldn't you find anything more current?

(Verrender from your link) what V. writes is true indeed. the very fact of the matter is that consecutive Govts since Howard's Big Aus policy have used immigration to prop up GDP as I wrote earlier.
GDP has needed such a prop to prevent the economy dipping deeper into -ve zone. do you get it yet?
