Sure, but it's a lot of broking/bank accounts to open. I've known IPOs that have done it for spread.
An asset sale obviously makes the % of voters irrelevant. I was reviewing what happened in AYS' case and it is mildly interesting:
<75% For the asset sale but remembering an ordinary resolution only needs a simply majority of 50.1% and yet >75% voted on the special resolution for the delisting which required the super majority of 75%.
