I'm well aware that this is an appraisal well. If you want to believe that appraisal wells are not designed with flow rates in mind, then obviously you lot have gone to a different school of petroleum engineering than the one I went to. Suggest you google the science behind the selection of well location. If you sink 50mn into a well (regardless of exploration, appraisal or production) but it was only designed to get half the reservoir data, I'd fire the technical head in 5 seconds.
