Mt Marion spodumene price achieved USD 2,645 whereas Pilbara achieved the below which does not include the 5000 tonnes they sold at USD 7,000 see below
The average sales price for the Quarter was ~US$4,267/dmt3 (SC6.0, CIF China basis), with a
realised price of US$3,911/dmt (CIF China basis) when adjusted pro rata for actual lithia
content of 5.4%
Could it be that there are transfer pricing issues here which would explain the toll treatment option being pursued?
Of course we dont know the mix for this quarter of 4% and 6% shipments but it still seems a very low price achieved in comparison to other spodumene producers.
