hmmm I have no dog in this race. But wouldn't the BOD recommending this offer be a huge flag as to whether they believe in the future of the company? If they are sitting on a gold mine as many users here believe, wouldn't the insiders share this sentiment. Their alternative is to reject this offer and comfortably continue milking their annual compensation, whilst long term even making more. Seems like a no-brainer IF this company had a prosperous future.

Harsh reality: All signs point to Pfizer's offer being fair (not generous by any means) in the eyes of the board. And maybe... just maybe they are acting in the best interests of shareholders by electing to proceed.
