I digMaybe if you had listened you would not have seen a reduction in your portfolio by 30 percent in a couple of hours.
When stocks have a parabolic rise there is no opportunity to build support or resistance on the way up as all market participants are " facing the same way"
So when the market turns everyone is looking for the exit at the same time hence the velocity of the fall often exceeds that of the rise.
