I'd beg to differ, not that there's anything wrong with that. I couldn't image a better way to monetise the pedigree reflected by his resume. He's looking at +$50m comp over c.5 years on that option package.
I reckon his Indian heritage is worth atleast $3/share to PNV. That's intrinsic value of $15m on his options, implying that he can generate $100m annual sales from India alone, and that's being conservative. So he's 1/3 of the way to +$50m pay day just for turning up to Melbourne.
Who here wouldn't come out of retirement for 5 years for that sort of pay day?
