This is not a classic "cup with handle" as the handle is too short, only lasting about 4 days.
Generally handles will form over a period of 1 to 2 weeks and volume should dry up near the low in the handle's price pullback phase. This didn't happen last week.
The true "cup with handle pattern" with RNU occurred last year, with the cup forming between March and September, and the handle forming between September and December. The typical volume rules were adhered to then.
This pattern is a prime indicator when to buy into a stock. It only needs to happen once as it is a prediction of the likely success of a stock.
One may trade in and out of the stock in future times, with the sound knowledge that the stock is likely to be successful at sometime in the future.
