Today in my uni property valuation seminar during chat we were talking about commodities and valuations and could not help myself.

I posted about the 4th industrial revolution and the demand for EV/Renewables technology and thus critical minerals, REE etc etc. I highlighted lithium.

None of the experts really knew anything but to say to me "yes but in 2024 there is going to be a lot of supply worldwide and prices will fall big time " (gee I wonder where they heard that)

I said " yes but not all lithium is the same and that demand will simply outstrip battery quality supply of lithium, and that the demand for high quality WA lithium will be immense"

I spoke about the current price and the OPEX of producers and I think they thought I was making it up.

I got now where he said about commodity cycles etc etc. Funny thing is there were some WA students and I think they were listening.

wow we lithium investors must live on Mars and everyone thinks we are crazy or have no idea.

Now let me think for a second, invest in the most overheated residential market ever or keep it in LTR and my other lithium holdings ohh dont forget those pesky REE and critical minerals such as copper, nickel and my other fav, vanadium.

Anyway Im now convinced that many in the financial sector just see lithium as very high risk, the EVs are a fad, its rubbish about the market penetration in EU, China and now the US starting to wake up.

Holding tight and wish I had some funds to buy more.
