I came from a broken family, single mum and live in commission house most of my life, until adulthood. Was told I would never get anywhere, but managed to graduate uni and landed a good job. Started my first business with 15k and within the next 7 years, managed to turn it into a multimillion dollars company, before losing it all in the 2008 GFC. Floating around for the next few years, got married, had kids and got a bunch of friends together to start my next venture in 2013 with only 5k and a credit card. The next 7 years was an incredible journey to say the least, managed to diversify into property and stocks and the rest is history. Now semi retired and hoping to permanently retire in 3 years time. Australian is a land of opportunity, if you choose to get off your butt and work for it.
