Clearly early results and testing led Kar to believe that the field was potentially much larger than earlier predictions. The market believed them, hence the $12.
Finding the same structure (plus the additional Montarta sands etc) supported the potentially huge find scenario.. Their initial response when there was no flow at P2 clearly showed they knew that had to be wrong, they knew gas was present, even out on the edges.
But if it doesn't flow, it aint worth much, so the "monster monster field" idea appears to be over.
Given that the SP is anywhere near $6 clearly the market believes Kar and that 7tcf is still a distinct possibility. 7tcf is a lot of gas and a lot of cash.
Kronos is now the key (yeah obvious statement I know).
