TGA review site updated again today and looks like another cancelled/suspended down from 97 to 92 by looks of things.
Will be interesting to see how many decide to cancel their applications and are left once Doherty studies and reviews are complete.

Did see that TGA came out in the media after last lot were cancelled /suspended and said it had nothing to do with test performance but was due to manufacturers cancelling applications.

Wonder why the sponsors/manufacturers are choosing to cancel the applications and not proceed to next stage of actual validation and certification…made their loot already on January and current wave selling expensive pieces of plastic and getting to the end of the stock on hand maybe? Well played to them but would be very unfortunate if they were not performing as claimed in initial applications and government departments and everyday people have been spending money and relying on inferior products leading to more infection, more long covid and potentially more deaths.

Would be great if they actually went and ran the Doherty independent review studies on ALL tests that received initial approvals including those that cancel applications to get a feel for if they actually worked at claimed levels in the first place, highly doubt this will happen but would be great to see the results. Have my suspicions on what it might show…

Unfortunate that Eugeni is not part of the process those results from Alfred look to be as good if not better then vast majority of the 92 remaining brands when comparing them with data from many independent overseas review studies.

Bring on Spain trials, EU commons and WHO approvals both will be a nice way to show that it works if they get accepted on either or both which if the Alfred studies are correct and correlate with current Euro trials should be very achievable.
